Abstract


This experimental study arose from the need to document the rich history of the Armenian people in the country's southern-most villages, through the settlements of the Basilian monks. It emerges as a result the need for appropriate action for the conservation and enhancement of this important cultural and environmental heritage. The aims are both cultural and economic.
