BREVE ITINERARIO STORICO – GIURIDICO DELLA RESPUBLICA CHRISTIANA

Faustino de Gregorio

Abstract

The birth and formation of the system of the Respublica Christiana was, from the beginning, characterized by particular events that historians traced back mainly to the Roman domination, in which the auctoritas drew its authority from the citizens of the Roman Empire. The Roman emperors loved to represent themselves as God’s on earth, according to the Eastern view of the sacred right of those who are called to govern invoking their deity, however, they didn’t recognize the many tensions that arose due to many emperors being involved in the investiture. But, their struggles, achievements, codifications and treaties have been a furrow in which many people have ploughed. Within this has been formed and implemented, the training and establishment of a new institutional model that does not neglect to balance interests between the potentates.
