Author Guidelines

Contributions will be subject to a double-blind peer review process. Authors should take the responsibility for their work, fitting the international linguistic standards; if not, it will be returned to the author. The manuscripts should be submitted electronically. Authors should prepare their papers according to the journal guidelines and the word template downloadable via this link: www.laborest.unirc.it

The manuscripts submitted to the journal should be prepared with:

- a title in Italian and English

- an Abstract in English, up to 1.150 characters (including spaces), with an accurate and structured representation of the manuscript content: the purpose of the paper; methodology; results and conclusions

- four to seven keywords in English

- a footnote next to the author’s name, for each author, which must include the author’s affiliation, his or her mailing and e-mail addresses, and information about the corresponding author (in the footer of the first page, using different symbols from sequence numbers used for text notes).

The manuscript should not exceed 4–6 pages in length, including reference lists, figures, tables, notes and eventually appendices.

The paper should be submitted as Word format (docx, doc) and should satisfy the editorial policy of the journal contained in the word template.

Authors are requested to strictly follow the editorial guidelines to ensure a fast publication process. Manuscripts not complying with the guideline or incomplete papers will be sent back to the author.

Once the review process has been successfully completed, the article will be finally accepted for publication as an open access article, provided that the paper has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration. Exceptions to this rule are colloquium papers delivered as invited talks or papers containing material disclosed at conferences. The corresponding author contextually declares that, for papers coauthored by scientists from various institutions, all authors are familiar and agree with the contents of the manuscript.

The Editorial Committee reserves the right to contact these authors to confirm this in case of doubt. There are no page charges for submission, processing or publication in LaborEst.
