L’ANALISI ECONOMICO-AMBIENTALE NELLA VALUTAZIONE DEI PROGETTI: PROPOSTA METODOLOGICA
Abstract
In line with the contemporary European perspectives on ecological transition and digital innovation, the programming-planning initiatives with a focus on intergenerational justice are attracting attention on a worldwide scale. The System of Environmental-Economic Accounting (SEEA) is currently the global standard framework for integrating economic and environmental data, specifically the ecosystem services, across the assessment processes. This research-work is aimed to support the feasibility of urban initiatives assessed in ecosystem services perspective. A broad framework SEEA-inspired is offered to: i) strengthen a more thorough understanding of the interactions between the economic and environmental systems in urban contexts; and ii) support the viability of interventions through a value co-creation mechanism based on the accounting of economic-environmental features of projects. The conclusions examine the consequences for economic policy of adopting the suggested framework when assessing land use initiatives in urban settings.
